ABOUT AND HISTORY

KAHIDA ALPHA or KHD was birthed in 2013. The founder had started the idea upon seeing the lack of Filipino representation despite the abundance of talent the country had to offer. She had also observed that most of the neighboring Asian countries had such celebrated entertainment industries and was determined to ensure that the Philippines was next in line to join the fray.In a span of a decade, it had finally been set into motion through the help and trust of a talented circle of individuals - performers, managers, and industry professionals gathered from her own circle of family, friends, and network. She had developed immersion and thorough insight to helm KHD through her experiences in both the front and behind the camera as an international label executive and as a former member of a local hip-hop collective in Manila.The pandemic had pushed the launch of KHD's first project in 2022 where it also plans the brand launch to the public. Currently, KHD operates through live events.

This is a creation of artists who have the power to create something new. We aim to test the limits of our connections, experience, the power of the internet, and fandom culture to soar higher than what it would be like when signed to a traditional entertainment company or label.KAHIDA ALPHA aims to create a roster of spectacularly talented individuals from the Philippines who are able to express their creativity and artistry as a unit whilst having the freedom to perform in other branches of their respective specialties. Managed by artists for artists, the individuals that compose the team are already part of the current Filipino entertainment industry and therefore have the necessary resources and experience to thrust this project into the modern market powered by social media and fandom culture.

HIRAYA, THE ØRACLE

HIRAYA, THE ØRACLE is a 22-year old rapper and producer from Taguig City. She began producing at age 15 and performs live as an underground artist through her collective, NEVERMORE (formerly KRAZY MANILA). Her sound includes rap genres infused with cyberpunk and vaporwave giving a unique take on modern rap. A musical explorer, she's unafraid to take it to the next level. She releases her music in numerous platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and Soundcloud. She released her first digital single on February 22, 2022.

LOOSH

LOOSH is a rapper from Manila. He is a young father that uses his love of words and poetry to fuel his artistry. A prolific storyteller, versatile bars and verses are all up his alley. He is a member of the collective, NEVERMORE (formerly KRAZY MANILA). He releases his music in numerous streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube among others. His latest single 'Beauty' is out now on all platforms. He is currently the most popular soloist in the roster.

MADERA

MADERA is an up and coming Filipino-American rapper based in Taguig City. Their songs showcase graphic lyricism that attacks what a traditional Filipino considers taboo, while mixing elements from Metal and R&B with hiphop beats. This sonic concoction coupled with their lyrical ability creates what Madera believes to be "fuckin bops." While Madera has yet to release their music on streaming platforms, keep an eye out for them in the club.
